iaedp™ San Francisco Bay Area is the local chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. In keeping with the mission of the larger organization, we are committed to promoting professional awareness of eating disorders, assisting in prevention efforts. and providing educational and networking opportunities to local professionals who treat eating disorders. Join us to strengthen connection within our community, develop new skills, and learn from leaders in the field.
Our Mission
To promote a high level of professionalism among practitioners who treat individuals with eating disorders by promoting ethical and professional standards, offering education and training in the field, certifying those who have met prescribed requirements, promoting professional awareness of eating disorders, and assisting in prevention efforts.

Quarterly Events
To foster our Mission, our chapter hosts four quarterly events per year: three in-person CE events, and one annual gala. We also aim to serve as a hub for our community, and may host additional events throughout the year. In 2026, we will be hosting lunch-time roundtables for chapter members to discuss pressing topics in the ED space.
